Roles & Permissions

Understand what Admins and Viewers can do

NotRealSmart has three roles: Owner, Admin, and Viewer. Each one has different levels of access to your agency.

Owner

That is you — the person who created the account. You have full control over everything: brands, team members, billing, settings, and all content. There is only one owner per account.

Admin

Admins can do almost everything the owner can:

  1. 1.Chat with the Director and create content
  2. 2.Schedule and publish posts
  3. 3.View and manage the content calendar
  4. 4.Access the Creative Studio and Command Centre
  5. 5.Save and edit outputs in the content library
  6. 6.Upload media and manage brand profiles
tipAdmins are ideal for trusted team members who actively manage your marketing — social media managers, marketing coordinators, or business partners. They cannot access billing or payment settings.

Viewer

Viewers have read-only access:

  1. 1.View existing content, posts, and outputs
  2. 2.See the content calendar and scheduled posts
  3. 3.Read conversation history
  4. 4.They cannot create new content, schedule posts, or change settings

Changing someone's role

The owner can change any team member's role at any time from the Team page. Click on the team member, select the new role, and save. The change takes effect immediately — no need for them to log out and back in.
